In October, the Wandersalon goes into the next round: In preparation for the upcoming edition of the exhibition project Ruhr Ding, Urbane Künste Ruhr is dedicated to the topic of climate in all its facets, from man-made climate change to dealing with the current social climate.

Together, Nele Heinevetter (curator), Klara Hobza (artist) and Vlado Velkov (curator), discuss what it means for art when there are neither walls nor floor, the weather suddenly has a significant influence on the reception of art and the audience moves between the works in bathing suits – or even swims between them. The guests of this wall salon are very familiar with the production and presentation of artistic works in and around water: Vlado Velkov curated the exhibition Odyssee im Möhnesee in 2017 and, as co-curator within Ruhr Ding: Klima, is overseeing a comparable project at Silbersee 2, Nele Heinevetter runs the exhibition space and kiosk Tropez at the Humboldthain summer pool in Berlin, and Klara Hobza dived once across the European continent in rivers and canals as part of her project Diving Through Europe.
