The work Pool Lines by Mexican artist Sofía Táboas is being created between an industrial estate and allotment gardens in Dortmund’s Schüren district. Two large triangles together form a third triangular shape, the walls of which are covered with shimmering green mosaic tiles and are reminiscent of the archaeological remains of a swimming pool or a mystical Bermuda triangle.
The formation blends into its surroundings and yet remains an attractive, mysterious foreign body, a play between landscape and architecture, on whose walls you can take a seat.

Opening Pool Lines
We are delighted to celebrate the opening of a new work on the Emscherkunstweg after a lengthy construction phase!
The artwork can be viewed from 4 pm, the celebratory reception will take place at 5 pm in the building of the garden association lm Massbruch. The walk to Pool Lines takes five minutes and is signposted.
Admission is free, the event is organised by the Emschergenossenschaft.
