In her sculptures, photographs and collages, Nicole Wermers combines formal questions with investigations into urban space and its social, economic and psychological inscriptions. A reference to the design of everyday objects becomes visible in the work of Nicole Wermers in its renegotiating of the envisaged purposes of their use in new compositions, in combination with other materials, forms and contexts.
