Dana Linssen

Dana Linssen is a film critic, writer, philosopher and freelance curator from the Netherlands. She is a long-term critic for daily nationwide newspaper NRC and contributor to film magazine de Filmkrant. For the International Film Festival Rotterdam, she programs the Critics’ Choice section, that is known for its video essays produced for the big screen. Dana was the founder of the Slow Criticism Project, teaches at the Utrecht University of the Arts and the ArtEZ Theatre Academy in Arnhem. She is part of the selection committee of Berlinale Talents and a long-standing mentor of Berlinale and Sarajevo Talents Press. When she is not writing about cinema, she develops texts for theatre and other performative practices. When she sleeps, she dreams. She is also a time traveler.
