On 9.9. we celebrate the end of the season at the Healing Complex: from 11 am there is the opportunity to experience the sound work Sprachnachrichten übers Schlonsken by Grupa Mauczka. Based on their own family biographies, the group addresses questions of belonging and memory culture of Polish-German migration history. Grupa Mauczka is a collaborative group consisting of Julia Nitschke, Tubi Malcharzik, Natalie Pielok, Cäcilia Wosnitzka, Desiree Kabis and accomplices whose common points of reference are the historical border region of Górny Śląsk / Upper Silesia and the concept of Post-East.

At 2 pm, the artists invite us to Dindać: together we will immerse ourselves in the sound installation of narrative fragments, immersive sound snippets and Don Kamisi, and afterwards, over coffee and poppy-seed cake, we will engage in a conversation about Upper Silesian misunderstandings and Grupa Mauczka's practice of Verschlonskens. A practice that takes a queer look at family narratives and historical events and shakes up nationalistically conceived borders.

Staying longer is worthwhile: with the phase Myconomy in the Healing Complex, we have dedicated ourselves entirely to mushrooms since March and got to know mycelium as a building material at the workshop series Mycel Bankett. We want to combine the results of the workshops into a banquet at 4 pm and let the season come to an end together with fermentista Eve Jazmati and artist Jonas Justen over bread, mushrooms and fermented delicacies.
